Need to Lose Weight Fast - 3 Weight Loss Myths Busted!



If you need to lose weight fast then listen up. If you knew all the lies you've been fed with regards to weight loss you'd be red with rage. Its getting increasingly difficult to find accurate information on weight loss because of the corruption in the industry.  Below I have listed 3 weight loss myths that you'll hear floating around the gym,work, pretty much anywhere people talk about losing weight. Read them! Understand them! Know that they are lies!
1. You Can Spot reduce.         
Spot reducing is doing an exercise that targets a certain body part in order to loss fat from that area.  A perfect example is doing a bunch of sit ups so that you can loss belly fat and lose weight fast from your belly.  This is a lie. The companies that make all those ab gadgets don't want you to know that but sit ups and crunches are the worst things you can do when trying to get that 6 pack.  You need to combine strength training with cardio in order to blow away the fat.  Men will typically lose fat from other parts of their body first before they see it come off their belly. While women will typically lose belly fat first and thigh and butt fat last.  Running on the treadmill will yield better results then busting your butt doing situps.    
2. Supplements are needed to lose weight.       
Some supplements can help speed up your progress but 95% - 97% of the results you see will be gained from your diet and exercise. Professional athletes and bodybuilders gain the most from using supplements because they are more likely too max out their diet and exercise efforts. If you are a beginner or novice then you are nowhere near this point yet and should save your money.        
3. Meal replacement products and diet shakes help you lose weight.      
These products are only for the sake of convenience. They save time but they sure don't save money!  If you need to lose weight fast then eating solid meals is the way too go. You should be eating 5-6 small meals a day every 3 hours too increase your metabolism. The process of digesting solid food increases your metabolic rate. Powders and liquids are absorbed much quicker and therefore can not take advantage of this.
